dr. thomas calvert, md
Board Certified Physician
As a board-certified physician for over 25 years, Dr. Thomas Calvert has found his passion lies in helping people live healthier lives, whether it’s in the emergency room or in his integrative medical practice. He traveled and studied overseas and then graduated from Wright State University with a BA in biology. Then, he attended Wright State’s School of Medicine where he specialized in emergency medicine. He has spent the past several years doing graduate studies in metabolic and nutritional medicine. He is constantly obtaining new certifications within the integrative sector as more is offered.
Karen Bell
DAOM, MAOM, BHSc, LMT, LPN
Karen started working in the medical field thirty years ago as an LPN. She served in the United States Army Reserves for six years as a combat support nurse obtaining the rank of SGT. In 2009, she returned to the Ohio College of Massotherapy School and obtained her Associate’s degree in Massotherapy, specializing in Myofascial and precision muscular therapy.
Karen takes an integrative approach with her patients. She starts by assessing the patient’s lifestyle, health profile, and overall wellness goals. She tailors a plan for each patient and offers several treatment modalities in order to achieve optimal health.
Complementary medicine has been a passion of Karen’s; leading her to obtain her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in August of 2018; and her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in September of 2020. She is currently working on research in regard to the management of Genetic Hemochromatosis.
Renea kelly
Medical Aesthetician
Renea has always had a passion for skincare. She completed her esthetics training in 2011 and became certified in permanent make up in 2018. She was personally trained by the top laser specialist on our state-of-the-art aesthetic equipment.
She is a certified specialist on all our offered products along with PCA certified to perform their peels.
Renea’s favorite thing about working at Renew is getting to personally interact with her clients and making them feel special. Clients always rave about how comfortable they are around her and she loves making sure they feel that way.
Away from the office, Renea enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach. She has three dogs and loves working out at Burn Collective. Favorite holiday? Thanksgiving, which she notes is always done New Orleans style with gumbo! She is a ragin’ cajun from the great state of Louisiana. Favorite food? Lasagna!
